Turkey tail mushrooms: common in the woods around here and are identifiable by their thick, light outer stripe. But the coolest thing about them? They can absorb toxic plastic pollutants and render them perfectly safe for the environment.
This woodcut was printed with nontoxic vegetable oil-based inks in a reduction technique for my 2026 calendar. Printed on Rives BFK. Block measures 7 × 10”. Limited, varied edition run of 6.
