Oyster mushrooms: versatile, fast-growing soil + water detoxifiers. They can break down or absorb organic contaminations and heavy metals, and have even been found to clean crude oil spills out of salt water.
This woodcut was printed with nontoxic vegetable oil-based inks in a reduction technique for my 2026 calendar. Printed on Rives BFK. Block measures 7 × 10”. Limited edition of 3.
